Our story is fuelled by a fire of passionate purpose and bound by action, teamwork and experience.
In 1995, Annie Stewart established Sympatico Coaching Practice, which has grown to become one of Australia’s longest established and respected corporate coaching services. The Sympatico team coach and train a diverse range of individuals and organisations across many fields of endeavour.
When Annie faced personal challenges in 2002, she embarked on a goal to uncover and more fully express her life’s purpose. She found her calling to be encouraging others to live out theirs. As a result of these insights, The Callings Program evolved whilst Annie and her colleagues built Sympatico.
In 2005 she commenced related doctoral studies. Her dissertaion, A Call to Lead: How to Find, Follow and Sustain Your Calling explored the effects of a calling in career development and leadership. Annie’s research took her around the world twice and led to interviews and studies with 80 passionate individuals. As her knowledge and reputation increased, she was invited to teach, present at conferences and deliver retreats. In 2009 her inspiring book, How to Find and Follow Your Calling was launched and immediately struck a chord with people at a cross-road in their lives or who were seeking to clarify their calling and purpose.
Annie now spends her time between Sympatico and The Callings Program. On an auspicious note, Sympatico celebrated 10 years at its CBD York House address in August 2010, the same month the inaugural Accreditation Workshop was launched.
